The 7th Lighting Conference of China, Japan and Korea was held in Tianjin University, Tianjin ,China on August 22-23, 2014.
Summary
This 7thLighting Conference was held in Tianjin University in August 22-23, 2014, which presented 110 papers and had 190 participants. In addition, most of participants could deepen friendship in the social events after this conference (banquet and night tour). The conference was completed successfully.
This annual conference started in Beijing in Oct. 2008 as “The 1st Lighting Symposium of China, Japan and Korea”, and was followed by the 2nd’s in Sapporo in 2009, the 3rd’s in Seoul in 2010 . From the 4th’s in Dalian in 2011, we changed a name to Conference from a Symposium. The 5th’s in Tokyo(2012) and 6th’s in Gwangju, Korea (2013) took place.
The 14th CJK organization committee meeting was held to plan the 8th Lighting Conference in Japan in 2015.

(Speaker :Prof. Luoxi Hao ) - Total 110 presented papers
The number of presented papers per country:
27 papers from Japan, 56’s from China and 27’s from Korea
24 oral presentations and 66 poster’s including 15 short oral’s
5 presentations of residential lighting session
36 presentations of students (8’s from Japan, 21’s from China and 7’s from Korea) - Best paper award
6 papers (3’s for oral presentations and 3’s for poster’s) - Award of encouragement for students
All students’ papers submitted to the conference - 190 participants (35 from Japan and 155 China and Korea, respectively)
Special affairs
- The 7th conference (110 papers and 190 participants) is as large as the other finished conferences. This conference became established in three countries.
- The term was extended for 1.5 days from 1 day. Therefore, the short oral speakers increased to 15 from 12. And the workshops in which three countries solved problems in clever ways were held.
